Free medical outreach in Kuje, Abuja

Reading Time: 1 minutes

Saturday was a happy day as the residents of Shadadi in Kuje Local Government Area, Abuja participated in a medical outreach. They received free medical services, food, clothing and educational materials from the Believers World Ministry, Fire Arena.

During the presentation of items, Reverend Brown Godswill, the General Overseer of the church announced that the exercise was part of the activities planned for the annual convention. The convention was aimed at reaching out to the less privileged in the community. The medical outreach had always been incorporated into the programme of the annual convention of the church.

Reverend Brown went on to remind Christians of what Christ did by feeding over 5000 people and healing several others. He urged them to do the same.

The educational materials were made available to parents to assist them in the forthcoming academic session.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Kunaba John commended the church and remarked that the medical outreach was a step in the right direction. The intervention of the church has impacted positively on the residents of the community and assisted in reducing the level of hunger there.
